
Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act
The Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act requires all Federal agencies to consult with and give strong consideration to the views of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Marine Fisheries Service, and State wildlife agencies regarding the fish and wildlife impacts of projects that propose to impound, divert, channel, or otherwise alter a body of water.
