State Agency	Application Title	Project Summary
California State Water Resources Control Board	Beneficial Uses of Wetlands and Wetlands Water Quality Standards	The Water Resources Control Board will develop wetlands beneficial use designations and narrative water quality standards. Implementation of this proposal will result in recommendations to wetlands for incorporation into the California Water Quality Control Plans (Basin Plans). A selection process by which wetlands can be categorized (according to specific characteristics) will be developed to build upon the existing protocol implemented under the California Clean Water Strategy and Water Quality Assessments.
