Project Update: The following steps have been accomplished to date (November 15, 1996):

• Project Definition. The concept for the watershed has been fully developed and a planning meeting scheduled for November 19,1996. The project team which will organize and implement the concept is: Toni Rockwell, Sue Rae Irelan, Nancy Davis, Robert Ball, and Sarah Green.

• Project Development. The project team has made presentations to many schools in the Tahoe-Truckee School District: Rideout Elementary, Tahoe Lake Elementary, Kings Beach Elementary, and Truckee Elementary. A presentation to Glenshire Elementary is planned. In addition, individual teachers at the following schools have been briefed on the concept and invited to the planning meeting: North Tahoe Middle, North Tahoe High, Sierra Mountain Middle, and Truckee High.
